These bridge reamers have a hex nut shank for use with power tools that have a square drive. They are suitable for use in high locations to prevent the reamer from coming loose in the tool. Bridge reamers (also referred to as alignment reamers) debur, enlarge, and finish holes in structural materials and have tapered flutes that ease the tool's entry into rough-cut or misaligned holes.
